David Richard
President, Olympic Seismic Ltd.
David Richard joined Olympic Seismic in June 2008 as Senior Vice President responsible for corporate business development activities in Canada and the United States. In July 2009, David was promoted to President of Olympic Seismic. Before joining Olympic, David was Co-Founder, President and CEO of FX Energy Ltd, a private junior oil and gas company. In addition, David was President and CEO of Kelman Technologies Inc, President of Paradigm Geophysical Ltd and CEO of IHS Energy. David started his career as a Geophysicist in 1979 with Petro-Canada.
Mark Watson
Sr. Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Mark Watson joined Olympic Seismic in April 2008 as Vice President, Operations. In April 2010, Mark was promoted to Senior Vice President, Operations. In February 2011, Mark took over the management of the Sales & Marketing group as Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing. Before joining Olympic, Mark worked for Arcis between 2002-2008 as Manager of Surveys and with Schlumberger-Western Geco between 1997-2002 as a Senior Field Geophysicist working worldwide on field crews and in processing centers.
Jude Affonso
Sr. Vice President, Finance and Human Resources
Jude Affonso joined Olympic Seismic in June 2006 as Vice President Finance. In April 2010, Jude was promoted to Senior Vice President, Finance & Human Resources. Before joining Olympic, Jude worked for Schlumberger from 1998-2005 in various senior finance positions in Calgary and internationally heading up Schlumberger’s Financial department in India from 2003-2005. Jude’s financial background also includes 10 years with Emirates Airlines in Abu Dhabi U.A.E.
Scott MacDonald
Vice President, Operations
Scott MacDonald joined Olympic in October 2010 as Manager of Field Operations. In February 2011, Scott was promoted to Vice President, Operations. Before joining Olympic, Scott worked at ReSurge Ltd. between 2009-2010 as Manager of Operations and with Pulse Seismic between 2003-2009 as Operations Geophysicist /Data Management Supervisor.
Eric Ruygrok
Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Eric Ruygrok joined Olympic Seismic in September 2011 as Vice President, Sales & Marketing. Before joining Olympic, Eric worked at Arcis as Business Development Manager, Fluor Canada as Materials Manager, PGS Onshore Canada as Country Manager and Schlumberger-WesternGeco as Chief Observer/Party Manager. Eric holds an MBA from the University of Calgary and a Computer Engineering Technology diploma from DeVry.
William Leakey
Vice President, Technology and Development
William Leakey joined Olympic Seismic in 2000 to establish Seitel Solutions a division of Olympic Seismic. William directs the Technology and Development of Olympic Seismic and its parent company Seitel Inc. and has built systems related to the Management and Marketing of Seismic Data. Before joining Olympic, William worked at Kelman Technologies and was the architect of the online seismic storage and data management system call DMASS. Prior to his efforts in Data management, William had lead technical roles over a span of almost 30 years in both the development of Seismic Data Management and Seismic processing systems.
